I feel so bad that Devin's birthday lands on the 22nd of December. It is hard for it to not get overlooked and I still want him to feel like it's his special day. He really IS the best thing to happen to me.
Since it also landed on a Sunday, we decided to go out to a nice dinner on Friday and leave the baby behind. We had a 4 course meal and the waiter even hooked us up with more dessert. We did a little shopping after and it was nice to be alone for a while.
On his real birthday I made a bunch of appetizers and we had his family over to watch the Seahawks play, open gifts, and celebrate. I can't believe he is 28! I don't know how else to say it except that I truly do love him more each day. Happy Birthday to my man!!
