Very rarely does it happen, but sometimes Chloe wakes up in a bad mood and we struggle the rest of the day. Earlier this week I thought I was going to pull my hair out. There was a lot of whining, poop smeared, big messes made (see pic below...that wasn't even half of it), and no napping.
Those days can be really hard but at the end of the night when I have a second to think, I realize what I've learned from that experience that day. Even those difficult days teach me something and it will always be a blessing to be a mother no matter the day.

Luckily, the next few days we had a ball. We really do have so much fun together most of the time!
I love how close we live to the grocery store. We can just pick up some extra ingredients for dinner whenever we need and enjoy a walk at the same time. Yesterday I made THIS (Dev said it tasted like he was at a restaurant and that's a double win in my book)
She decided she wanted to help fold laundry while sitting in the dryer. Entertained her for 20 min.
Sending our daily pic to Devin while he is at work.
Taking a step! No walking over here yet. But every now and then she decides to try a step.

  1. The tapioca on the floor reminds me of when Carter was that age and he had pulled the oatmeal out and was playing with it all over the floor. I learned not to keep those things down low! Loving the pics!

  2. Chloe has gotten a thousand times cuter if that was even possible!!!!! LOVE all her little personality! I can totally relate to the days that you want to pull out your hair. I never thought I'd be the yelling mom, but I have goals everyday that I won't yell....and everyday I need to remake the same goal cause I always yell.....kids are so fun and can really drive me crazy at the same time. I can't believe she's walking already too! Really wishing we could get our girls together for a play date now that they'd really understand it better :)
