This Thanksgiving seemed like a blur since Chloe was only 8 days old and I was still recovering and completely exhausted. I was SO grateful my mom and little sister could be in town with us.

Post pregnancy hormones are for realllll. I had the hardest time saying goodbye to my mom. She was the biggest blessing staying with us for 2 weeks (she came 4 days before Chloe was here..thinking she wouldn't be that many days over due). She is an amazing woman and the biggest comfort to me. I hope I can be that to Chloe one day.

Dev and I had so much to be thankful for this year.  A warm apartment, Devin's new job (which he started a few days after Chole was born), our good health, friends and family, and our beautiful baby are some of our greatest blessings.

  1. What a sweet time to have a new baby! She's beautiful, and I completely remember the hormone party! I remember just looking at Ethan breathing and bursting into tears (of joy) for the first like 3 weeks of his life...then he got fussy and the hormones made me cry for different reasons lol! But it is such a sweet time. Enjoy every moment because it FLIES!!!!!

  3. Ha. I cried my eyes out when my mom left after two weeks. Each day got easier, but you are so right. Pregnancy hormones are for real!
