picnic in the park

Saturday Dev and I took a breather from homework and had a picnic at the park.

I hope I don't ruin your eyes...I'm practically glowing in this photo at my attempt to get a tan.

We went to the local grocery store and picked up some fried chicken, a 50 cent bottle of soda, and brought some fruit salad.

I love that we can go do fun things together like this on a whim. ps. Isn't our picnic blanket cute? My Grams made it for me. The other side are old jeans that she sewed together! This blanket will have many memories to come.
