When I watched this youtube clip, I thought about the tender mercies I receive. Back in December of 08 I met with my bishop to talk before I was to be married the following month. I told him that I was having a hard time understanding why I had found someone to marry at such a difficult time in my family's life. It wasn't making sense to me that I was supposed to be celebrating the happiest time in my life at a time that my family and I were hurting so much. He mentioned that Devin was a tender mercy in my life at this time.
A little over a year later now, and I can more clearly see God's hand in placing my special tender mercy in my life. He has helped replace the hurt for happiness, the sadness with laughter, and the loneliness with love. Not only for me but for the rest of my family as well.

ReplyDeleteI love you becca, you're so thoughtful and inspiring. My tender mercy is my husband as well. My family has been having an hard time pretty much since I moved out to Idaho and he has been a glue in my family and I love it. I love Alex so much thank you so much for reminding me.
