there is power

Dev and I decided every Monday night we would focus on a section of the "Proclamation to the Family" http://www.lds.org/library/display/0,4945,161-1-11-1,FF.html and study it through out the week together. In my opinion this document can change lives, it can change families. Read it and become inspired by it!

a gift

Tonight I am grateful for what some might not think of as a gift, but I have come to understand how powerful this gift can be.
Eyes to see.
Twice a week I go to KBYI, a radio station that broadcasts from BYU that can be heard in Idaho and its surrounding states. I get to read news articles from the news paper over the air for the blind.
I have only been reading for 2 weeks and yet I have found this to be very gratifying. I am grateful tonight that I can wake up each morning to see my husband lying next to me and later to see the rest of God's beautiful creations in this world. I am blessed.

grandpas 70th

after emmas big party we had one for my grandpa. he turned 70. i didn't get pictures of all my hilarious and beautiful aunts along with the 50 other cousins...it was 90 degrees out and i was getting weary but i had to post this one of dev.... i have such a handsome husband. overall we had a Great trip.. a lot of sun a lot of driving but overall satisfaction. i love you family

emmas big day

one of the days was very special for my family. my little sister emma turned 8 and she asked devin to baptize her. all of our cousins aunts and uncles came to support her. after we had a big party at red robin with even more food.

a cowboy for a husband?

we did a lot in between of all the other big things we had to do. my aunt and uncle have 3 horses so all of the cousins rode. devin was out there any time he could. i would crack up every time i saw him... if i left him there any longer he would have turned into a cow boy. my aunts are master baker/cookers. we probably gained 10 pounds while we were there...there was a lottt of eating going on. we also went swimming with all the cousins too.

cont. emily and tommys big day

as im about to post this i realize you will be reading out of order... but you know what, im not really a blog freak so im gonna leave it. enjoy anyway.

emily and tommy are our close friends, they were married in the new draper utah temple. elder anderson married them which was even more special. we loved both the temple and reception parts of their wedding. by the way they are in hawaii right now. jealous.

were backkkk

there will be a couple posts from our trip to utah. it was very eventful everyday running around doing something. i didn't take any pictures but i would like to say that the salt lake temple is my most favorite temple in the whole world. devin and i made it our first priority to go there the very first day. it was a very special experience for us and i am grateful we took the time to go.

up next is emilys mini bachorlette party. dani and I had a little party for our good friend emily who was getting married the following day. she looked so happy and we had fun playing games and eating.
