pudding and a good weekend

finally some sun around here... run down of our weekend--

we went swimming (i got severely sunburned), dev played in a home-run derby, we went to a jazz concert and tonight we made pudding.

we never see each other during the week anymore. school and dev working takes over all our time. today we skipped a class so we could hang out for just a little bit. i always fall asleep waiting for Dev to get home at night so this was our only way to say hi for an hour. good thing school is only 4 more weeksss

it had to go

the new do... 

i finally cut all that dead hair off.. yes 6 inches and put dark in it. i was putting off cutting my hair because i didn't want to be like every other newly married girl and chop her long pretty hair off but mine really had to go. and the best part was it was only 26 bucks! im trying to avoid the short hair mom look.. so who knows how long i will try and keep the short hair.

For those of you who don't live in rexburg... i swear employment doesn't exist here.  This is him in his little outfit. Can you guess where he works??

That's right... the classy wal-mart and I'm not even embarrassed! 

At this point anyone around here would die to get a job at wal-mart because no one can find a job anywhere else. They are re-modeling the place so they hired him to help do some construction. He is working 40 hours a week and going to school. What a guy.

Earth Day

I couldn't have been any greener today. Since Dev was at work, I rode my bike to school and from there I remembered I needed groceries so I rode there AND I brought my green recyclable bags. 

There are many pluses to being green. I got exercise from riding my bike, I got discounted for bringing in my green bags, and I didn't have 1000 left over plastic bags I had to shove away.

Dev was at work... I invited some friends over.

Really I have some of the cutest friends, these are some my cute old roommates that I have known since I got to BYU (except Kelli I knew from back home) Jayme made us chimichangas (spelling?). We are training her to cook for her missionary who comes home in 3 months!

sushi

We have a favorite sushi restaurant back in seattle that we crave allll the time. rexburg doesn't have quality sushi so Devin decided to get our own sushi kit, he made us shrimp tempera sushi rolls and rice. my husband is a natural sushi chef.
